SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH focuses on three strategic business segments: production, processing, and distribution. By doing so, we combine the competences of a steel producer with those of a steel processor and distributor to enable our customers to obtain all-round support from one single partner.

Our more than 150 years of experience, as well as reliable quality standards and state-of-the-art material testing and documentation systems, make us a dependable partner that offers its customers exactly what they need along the entire value chain.

At six high-capacity steelworks around the globe, we produce high-grade steels that can be processed with the most modern technology at our processing plants in Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Turkey. Subsequently, the steel can be delivered to our customers just in time through our distribution companies in Europe and other parts of the world. And if that isn't enough, our distribution organisation is in a position to order on the global procurement market any material that we do not produce ourselves – fully in keeping with our motto: "Providing special steel solutions".
