So as to master the volumes of high-grade steel products required, SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH has six of its own steelworks in Europe, Canada and the USA.

Swiss Steel AG (the former von Moos Stahl AG) produces, engineering and free-cutting steel at Emmenbrücke in Switzerland. With plants in Witten, Siegen, Krefeld and Hagen, the German Deutsche Edelstahlwerke produces high-grade tool steels, engineering steels as well as corrosion, acid and heat-resistant steels, while Ugitech in France focuses on the production of stainless long products. The Group’s American and Canadian subsidiaries A. Finkl & Sons and Sorel manufacture high-grade tool steel up to large-dimensioned products.

The SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group not only supplies its customers with standard qualities but also with customized special materials for the most demanding of applications. Our spectrum ranges from tool steels via high-quality engineering steels, corrosion, acid and heat-resistant steels to bright and special steels which can all be supplied in all qualities, with individual dimensions or in various alloyed forms to meet your precise applicational requirements.
